March 2022 Market Update What's Happening in the Real Estate Market in Your Community

A Note from Amy

The warmer weather is finally melting the snow away, and spring is right around the corner! The spring real estate market is in full swing and despite the historically low levels of inventory throughout the area, we are busier than ever here at Amy Balewicz Homes. Our team continues to grow as we strive to help more families, elevate the client experience, and provide more resources to the community.

Inventory levels to start the year are lower than they've ever been. As a result of this shortage, we're seeing sale prices and offer activity soar as buyers are aggressively looking to make a move before interest rates increase.

In Bolton, there are currently only 3 active listings on the market compared to 8 at this same time last year, and 21 in 2020!

In Stow, there have been 5 sales for single family homes through February and we've seen a 42.5% increase in the average sale price up to $1,078,000 compared to $619,590 in 2021.

In Lancaster we’re seeing similar numbers with 4 single family homes sold through February and a 34.7% increase in the average sale price.

If you have any other questions about pricing, where the market is heading, or just have general questions, please reach out. When you decide to buy or sell a home, I hope you’ll put your trust in us. In the meantime, we’d love to be a local real estate resource for you, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
